Red Dead Redemption 2 Exotic Locations Guide – All Exotic Request and Items

Red Dead Redemption 2

In this Red Dead Redemption 2 Exotic Locations Guide, we will show you all the Exotic Locations that lead you to special collectible items. The collection of these exotics is important if you are looking for 100% completion of the game.

Red Dead Redemption 2 has 5 Exotic Quests that consist of 10 Exotic Locations all around the map. The Exotics can only be accessed when you accept a Stranger Mission called “Duchesses and other Animals” by Algernon Wasp in Saint Denis. Keep in mind that this Stranger mission is available when you reach Chapter 4 of Red Dead Redemption 2’s Story Missions.

Once you are in Chapter 4, head to the location shown in the picture below, where you meet Algernon. Start the Quest he gives you to unlock the Exotic locations and items. Algernon will give you a list to collect Exotic items that you can refer to anytime by getting it from your Satchel.

Below we have first explain what Exotic Requests are and how you much complete them. We will follow up by listing all of the Exotic Request with their locations and the items that you are required to collect when you go hunting for these.

Exotic Quests

There are 5 Exotic Quests in total that are given to you in a series. These requests ask you to collect two types of Exotic items: Plants, bird feathers, and gator eggs.

You can collect these items in marked locations that we will detail below. Plants are easy to collect, while bird feathers can be tricky. The birds spawn randomly, and you are required to collect multiple of them.

All the bird feathers and gator eggs are found quite close to the region of Saint Denis as show in the picture below, while the plants are more spread out and mostly found on tree trunks, and on the ground.
