Inventory has always played a massive role in all of the Resistance Evil titles and the new Resident Evil 3 Remake is no different. Just like the original Resident Evil 3, the Remake also requires you to carefully manage your inventory so that you can ensure that you have all of the required items with you always. You start with a limited inventory space but you can find different Hip Pouches as you play the game to increase your inventory space. Inventory Upgrade Guide – Resident Evil 3 Remake
Our Resident Evil 3 Remake Inventory Upgrade Guide details the locations of all Hip Pouches so that you can increase your inventory space in Resident Evil 3 Remake. They are detailed below in the order in which they appear in the main story of the game.
Hip Pouch #1
After you arrive in the Power Substation in Downtown, make your way to the control room and you will find the Hip Pouch upgrade sitting on a ladder right next to the typewriter and some controls on a console.
Hip Pouch #2
Continue playing the Downtown level and you will soon arrive in the subway where you will come across a puzzle that requires you to find three jewels and restore the power to the subway. After you have found the jewels and restored the power to the substation, return to the Kite Bros Railway Monument to complete the puzzle and get your Hip Pouch. You cannot obtain this one without solving the puzzle.
Hip Pouch #3
In Downtown, you will eventually reach the sewers. Continue playing until you have to find and obtain the battery pack. Locate the battery pack, head to the water ramp and use the ladder here to go up to the upper floor of this area. Kill the enemies that spawn in this location and then open the Security Room with the battery pack you found earlier. Head inside and you will find the hip pouch sitting on the desk.
Hip Pouch #4
The next Hip Pouch you find is located inside the West Office of the Raccoon City PD while you are playing with Carlos. This one is sitting inside a safe. You can check out our safes guide on how to open this safe.
Hip Pouch #5
While playing as Carlos, you will reach the Hospital in the main story. Find the vaccine in the hospital and then defend it against the zombie horde that attacks you. When the power is down, kill the Hunter that appears and restore the power. Now, look at the spot where the Hunter came in from. A new location is now accessible and you can head inside to find the Hip Pouch sitting inside it.
Hip Pouch #6
Reach the underground storage of the hospital and make your way to the Warehouse Safe Room. Here you will find the Hip Pouch sitting next to the typewriter in the room before entering the warehouse.
