This Resident Evil 3 Remake Weapon Upgrades Locations Guide will show you where to find all the weapon upgrades in the game. In total, there are 10 different weapon mods that you can find and equip on the weapons.

Below we have detailed all the weapon upgrade locations in the game.
Weapon Upgrade #1 – Handgun Red Dot Sight
This upgrade can be found in the Art Storage Room in Downtown, to the right of Moon’s Donuts shop. Inside the room is a safe that can be unlocked to get the Red Dot Sight for the Handgun. The code is Left turn 9, right turn 1, and left turn 8.
Weapon Upgrade #2 – Shotgun Tactical Stock
This upgrade can be found in the Red Stone Street Station, where you need the red, blue and green jewels to place on the monument. Placing the green and then the blue jewel on the monument will give you the Tactical Stock for the shotgun.
Weapon Upgrade #3 – Handgun Extended Magazine
To get the weapon upgrade, you have to defeat Nemesis after you restore the power to the Subway Station. The upgrade will be dropped by Nemesis after he is defeated.
Weapon Upgrade #4 – Handgun Moderator
In the same Subway Station, you will have to fight Nemesis again. When defeated, the boss will drop the crate containing the upgrade.
Weapon Upgrade #5 – Semi-Auto Barrel for Shotgun
This weapon upgrade is found in Gun Shop Kendo in the Downtown part of the city. as you enter the shop, it will be on the shelf on the far left side.
Weapon Upgrade #6 – Assault Rifle Scope
This weapon upgrade will be n the West Office in the first floor of the Police Station. It will be contained in the STARS chest on the table. You will get the card from the zombie Brad that will allow you to open the chest.
Weapon Upgrade #7 – Assault Rifle Tactical Grip
When playing as Carlos, this weapon upgrade can be found on the first floor of the Hospital, but it will be in the courtyard which is only accessible if you jump from the second floor. Head up to the second floor, and towards the Nurses’ Room, where you will be able to jump down on the left, through the broken glass.
The upgrade will be here on the right, and on the potted plant.
Weapon Upgrade #8 – Assault Rifle Dual Magazine
This weapon upgrade can be found in a safe that is in the Nurses’ Room in the Hospital. The safe will require the code to unlock, which is Right 9 and Left 3.
Weapon Upgrade #9 – Shotgun Shell Holder
This weapon upgrade will be in the Underground Storage of the Hospital. It comes during the crane elevator section that you lower down to allow you to cross on the other side. When you cross the other side, the upgrade will be inside a box.
Weapon Upgrade #10 – Extended Barrel Magazine
In the same Underground Storage section, head towards the Surveillance Room where it will be behind the large control panel desk, and in a box.
