Ingredients Guide – Resident Evil 8 Village
Our Resident Evil 8 Village Ingredients Guide details everything that you need to know about ingredients and recipes in Resident Evil Village.
Collecting Ingredients and Cooking Dishes
Resident Evil Village features cooking, and you can cook multiple dishes if you can find the right ingredients. Cooking is unlocked after a certain story progression in the game, more specifically after you meet Duke. Cooking and eating dishes give you permanent boosts. These boosts include additional health, improved stamina, and much more. Some of the ingredients in the game are tied to story progression, some can also be missed to it is vital that you collect them all when you can. In addition, you must not sell your cooking ingredients because the game only has a handful of them, and you might end up having insufficient ingredients for your recipes.
You should try to collect all of the ingredients in one playthrough because it is completely possible to create and eat all dishes in a single playthrough. Once you have eaten all dishes, you will get all of the permanent stat boosts and you will be able to carry them on to NewGame+. You only need to make and eat the dishes one time. They carry on to your NewGame+ so you do not have to find ingredients and cook dishes again if you have already cooked all of them in your previous playthrough.
