New Resident Evil Will Feature Co-Op, Younger Characters

A new Resident Evil game has been rumored to be in the works for a while now and it seems that we are going to get an official first look at what Capcom has been working on in a few days. The trailer is going to premiere in a few days but some screenshots of the teaser trailer have been leaked and it seems that the new Resident Evil game will have co-op.

Co-op would be a major feature in the upcoming resident evil game and it will be interesting to see how it is implemented. The screenshots show that the characters are pretty young which could mean that this is going to be some kind of spin-off that will not feature Leone or the other characters that we are used to seeing in the Resident Evil franchise. We might see something similar to Wolfenstein: Youngblood. We have included the trailer below but it is not live yet.

You can check out the screenshots of the upcoming Resident Evil game below:

The game does have an outbreak feel to it and fans are hoping that this is another outbreak game. It might be but as there is not confirmation take this with a grain of salt. The characters do look generic but if all of them are playable in co-op then the game could be a lot of fun.

It will be interesting to see what this new game is going to bring to the table. The graphics do look pretty great now all we have to do is wait for the trailer to premiere so that we can get more details about the game.

Let us know what you think about a new Resident Evil game coming out soon and whether or not you would be interested in playing the game in co-op.
