Check out the brand new gameplay trailer of Rise of Humanity below:

CEO of Cybernetic Walrus, Mike had this to say,

Rise of Humanity is a game that keeps on giving with an insane amount of content and many hours of gameplay time. It also gives three new challenges with different battle conditions every day. By beating these daily missions, players can compete with one another with their scores on our leaderboards and become the ultimate saviour of humanity!

The Early Access game offers:

  • Six missions with text dialogue, as well as six level environments with increasing difficulty
  • Four playable characters, each with three skills trees, each tree having 3 skills. For example, for Hunter, players can decide on which of his skill tree they would like to build on: make him more of a hit and run character with melee attacks as his strength, a gunslinger or an explosive expert. Each will effect the strategy of the players differently in the game.
  • Three enemies (Crushers, Robot Puppies and Drones) with different powers and one dangerous mini-boss
  • Unlimited random side missions chosen from two mission types (players will either have to escape the level or kill all enemies to complete a mission)
  • 119 playable cards: 25 general cards that all characters can use, and 20-27 cards for each hero that are specific to their skills. (For example, Alex, a medic with healing powers will have cards that can increase the health of other heroes, while Memory, a hacker will have unique cards that can disarm, immobilize or control the enemy machines.)
  • A central mission hub (the Hideout) where players can heal their heroes, buy them skills, upgrade, merge and remove cards from their decks.
  • We plan to have two major releases during Early Access, in the meantime, we plan to do regular updates with bug fixes and new content for the daily challenges
