Ubisoft has announced that the Road to Six Invitational 2021 event is returning to Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege. The event will run every Thursday to Monday starting from January 21 to February 22, 2021, along with the Six Invitational 2021 Battle Pass which is also now available for players. All purchases will contribute to the Six Invitational prize pool so the more players purchase the Six Invitational Battle Pass, the higher the prize pool will become.
Players will be glad to know that the Stadium map is back which is considered one of the most competitive maps for the game. It combines the elements of both the Border and Coastline map. Players will also get access to all Operators for these three-minute, three-round unranked Plant Bomb with Pick and Ban mode. The three Captains Mira, Capitao, and Vigil and their teams will also get outfits from the Battle Pass themed content.
If you have not yet purchased the Six Invitational 2021 Battle Pass until now, it will remain for sale until February 22, 2021, with one Free track and one Premium track. You will need to dish out 1200 R6 credits for it. The Battle Pass for this year includes 100 tiers and 135 rewards to earn before February 22 and progressing through tiers will allow you to obtain exclusive gear for the Captains and their teammates along with additional exclusive content.
Just like every year, 30% of revenue from the Battle Pass will go into the Six Invitational 2021 prize pool up to a maximum of 3 million USD. If you are not familiar with the Six Invitational, it is the biggest event for Rainbow Six Siege. It is taking place from February 9 to 21, 2021, this year and is the pinnacle of the Rainbow Six Siege competitive season and features the best teams from all over the world. Everyone gets a share of the prize pool depending on their finishing position at the end of the tournament.
For this year, around 20 teams will compete in a LAN environment in Paris, France, as the event will follow strict sanitary measures in lines with guidelines from health organizations and local authorities. For safety reasons, there will be no audience on-site however fans of the event will be able to connect digitally on Twitch and YouTube to witness the best teams in the world face off along with the community and developer panels.
