Psyonix has announced that Rocket League now supports Cross-Play on PS4. This means that it is now the second game to support Cross-Play among all platforms where the game is available.
Player can now team up with any players whether they are playing on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch or PC and jump in the action together as one. The Cross-Play feature is now active by default across all platforms after the newest update.
Players will have Cross-Play option in all Online match types which include Casual, Competitive and Extra Modes. Players can also team up or play against each other on any platform. Friends who were previously unable to play with each other because of owning different platforms can now jump in the action together without any problems.
If you want to confirm that Cross-Play is working on your console or PC, simply head to Main Menu and choose Options. In there, head to Gameplay tab and make sure the Cross-Platform Play is checked. That’s all. It is a very simple process to enjoy games with your friends across the platforms.
The new update is now live so you simply need to update your game to play the game with this feature. This is yet another great feat by Psyonix as they have made the community come together across all the platforms by their hard work and dedication. Rocket League is now the second game to support the Cross-Play Beta functionality on PS4.
Earlier, Psyonix also released a special McLaren 570S car pack for Rocket League. It was announced at The Game Awards 2018 and was released the same day which was the first licensed vehicle to be featured in the game.
With Cross-Play enabled, players will not get more reasons to jump back in Rocket League and play the games with their friends and family on any console they like.
