Roguebook Gem Mines Update Brings Free Content, $20,000 Contest

Roguebook Gem Mines Update

Nacon and Abrakam Entertainment have just released the Roguebook Gem Mines update, which is also the first free update for the game. This comes after the game’s successful launch, celebrating with a new creative contest with a prize worth $20,000.

Before we talk about the contest, let’s first look at what the Gem Mines update brings to the game. Watch the trailer below:

The Roguebook Gem Mines update will have our heroic duo navigate through treacherous paths and a variety of death traps. These new hazards will pose a new challenge to the heroes, hiding the extraordinary relics concealed by them. The update also brings new story events, treasures, gems, and cards.

Moving on to the contest where you can win a Legendary Magic: The Gathering card which is worth $20,000, and it is the Black Lotus. If you are interested in the contest and want to get your hands on the rare card, you must first create an original card for each of the heroes of Roguebook – Sharra, Sorocco, Seifer, and Aurora. Once you have all the cards, you need to submit these four cards on the contest’s website. The winner will be selected after a community vote, where a jury composed of Abrakam Entertainment’s developers, and creator of Magic: The Gathering Card will pick the winner.

Roguebook Gem Mines Update

Roguebook is a roguelike deck builder where the adventure first begins with a blank map where you and other players will progress by revealing new tiles that can be moved, using an ingenious inkwell system. With each run, the Roguebook will change, which means the obstacles encountered are different from one game to the next. The same goes for the enemies that players must defeat in tactical turn-based battles.

We have recently reviewed the game where we gave it a 6/10, talking about the great combat that it features, only to be marred by an uninspiring progression system. Post your comments below.
