Wrestler and actress Ronda Rousey has teased the invitation of Mortal Kombat 11 event which is this week, in a picture she posted on Instagram. This also puts weight to the rumor of Ronda featuring as a voice actor for Sonya Blade in the upcoming latest game in the series.

Although we will learn more information about her appearance in the game, the tease almost confirms all the rumors that were previously leaked by a Reddit user by the name of eon95 who leaked the cover art of the game, the invitation report of Ronda Rousey for the event, and finally suggesting her appearance as a voice character in the game.

Rousey captioned the image, “ The invitation I’ve been waiting to accept my whole life. Don’t worry, Earthrealm is safe with me 😉 Can’t wait for Thursday!”

Ronda Rousey is an athlete best known for her Olympic medal winning martial arts in Judo and also best known to be the UFC Women’s Batnamwieght Champion. She has also recently appeared as a professional wrestler in WWE. She is well documented to be a talented fighter and actress who loves to play a variety of video games.

The Mortal Kombat 11 reveal event is scheduled to begin at 11 am PT on Thursday, 17 January. In addition to premiering the first gameplay of the game, the description of the reveal event also promises exclusive reveals, details on the game story, characters, and some of its new features.

Mortal Kombat 11 will release on 23 April, 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch. Fans who pre-order a copy will also receive Shao Kahn as a playable character, while PS4 and Xbox One owners who pre-order the game will also get access to a pre-launch beta. The test will be held for those platforms sometime in March, though more details are yet to be announced.
