After AMD announced the A520 lineup of motherboards, many vendors have released their own versions of the A520 motherboards as well. The motherboard is a go-to for the budget PC builders as it provides decent features at a very good price. The A520 lineup of motherboards will not feature the fast PCIe Gen 4 which is available in both the other tier motherboards.

The A520 motherboard will also not support CPU overclocking. The A520 chipset will feature max I/O of 6 PCIe Gen3, 4 SATA, and 9 USB ports. But the good thing is that it supports Ryzen 3rd Gen out of the box and will also feature the upcoming Zen 3 APUs and CPUs. Below we have listed the Lineup of A520 motherboards from ASRock, ASUS, MSI, and Biostar.

ASRock A520 Motherboards

ASRock has released 6 different versions of the A520 chipset. They include four mini ATX motherboards and a Mini ITX motherboard.

The A520M Pro4 is a Micro-ATX board with four DIMM slots and dual PCIe x16 slots, which the mini ITX version has 2 DIMM slots and 1 PCIe x16 slot. The A520M Pro4 has four SATA III ports. I/O on the motherboard includes four USB 3.2 Gen 1, two USB 3.2 Gen 2, 2 USB 2.0, HDMI, D-Sub, VGA ports, Gigabit Ethernet LAB, and a 3-channel audio jack.

ASUS A520 Motherboards

ASUS has announced three A520 motherboards so far. These include the PRO series, PRIME series and the TUF GAMING series. The ASUS Prime A520 motherboard has a PCI-Express x16 slot, a pair of PCIe x1 slots, a single M.2 socket, and two DDR4 DIMM slots that support up to 4,600 MHz RAM to feed current Socket AM4 CPUs.

I/O range on the back of the motherboard includes 4 USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, 2 USB 2.0 ports, 1 HDMI port, 1 D-Sub port, a Realtek Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, 3 channel audio jack & a PS/2 port. It comes in a mini ATX form factor. ASUS Prime A520’s retail price is 75.99$.

MSI A520 Motherboards

MSI has released four A520 motherboards which includes one from a new lineup called MAG. It is named as the MAG A520M Vector Wi-Fi. The MAG A520M Vector Wi-Fi is equipped with MSI Extended Heatsink Design, Turbo M.2 with M.2 Shield Frozr allows for maximum performance without throttling condition. It supports Wi-Fi AC 3168 and Gigabit LAN to provide the flexibility of networking experiences.

Biostar

So far, Biostar has released only 1 A520 motherboard, the A520MH. It has 2 x DDR4 DIMM Memory Slot, Max. Supports up to 64 GB Memory. It supports Dual Channel DDR4 3200+(OC). It has 4 x SATA III Connectors (6Gb/s), 1 x M.2 (M Key) Socket which supports M.2 Type 2242/ 2260/ 2280.
