Rugby 20 allows players to change their tactics before and during matches which is a new feature for the franchise. By managing the game plan, behavior of players and positioning, players can have more control over their team during the match and allow them to change the tactics on the go to match the scenario as well as making the game more suitable according to their own playstyle.
Attacking play will have different moves available ranging from long passes to teammates to kicking options. Grubber kicks, side-steps, pass feints are all thrown in the mix which will allow players to gain the upper edge over their competition while they are attacking. Defending play will also come with its own unique moves and strategies. Players will need the right timing and accuracy to succeed in defense. Tackles must be precise to avoid the chances of penalty.
