SNK has just announced the latest Samurai Shodown DLC female character coming to the game called Iroha. The DLC character joins the roster next week on May 13 in North America on the PlayStation4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Iroha is the third character to join the roster in the season 2 pass DLC. A trailer was also released showing Iroha in action. Check out the trailer below:

Iroha patiently dotes on her young master. One day, a sudden darkness falls over the land, and her master’s wellbeing drives IROHA to pick up her weapon, as nobody will get in between their love. Her beauty is beyond compare, and her fighting style is as graceful as a crane.
Iroha is a crane which means she can take the form of a human. Following an unknown master, she is a very agile and exemplary fighter to join the series. First introduced back in Samurai Shodown IV, Iroha hasn’t been seen ever since in the series up until now. So it is a welcome return of the character in the latest game in the series.
Being the third character for this season pass, this means that we have one more character to go for this year. The character might be announced after a few months. In April Sogetsu Kazama joined the game following Mina Majikina.
Players who own the Season Pass 2 can find him waiting in the character roster while players looking to purchase him separately can do so for $5.99. The complete Season Pass 2 is worth $13.99 so if you want the whole DLC pack arriving in Season 2, you can opt for it at a discounted price and obtain all four DLC fighters. The fourth DLC fighter to arrive in Season Pass is yet to be revealed.
