After nearly one year of its release, Santa Monica Studio is thanking God of War fans with a bunch of freebies. Santa Monica released God of War last year in April and it was one of the best titles in the franchise. Fans were blown away by the game and it was the highest rated title in the franchise as well.
God of War did not just end its success story in its initial release months as it nabbed a lot of awards at the end of the year and even won Game of the Year award at The Game Awards 2018. It set a brand new direction for the franchise and fans absolutely loved it. To celebrate the title’s huge success and to thank all the fans, the studio has decided to give something back to the fans as a thank you gesture.
To thank the fans, Santa Monica is releasing a premium theme free to all PSN account holders as well as a set of Avatars. The free theme is available today to all PSN account holders while the avatars will arrive on April 17. Both items are free to all PSN users. It does not matter whether you own God of War or not. You can download both the Avatar set and the theme free of cost.
