Systemic Reaction has announced that its online dino shooter Second Extinction is coming to Xbox Game Preview in Spring 2021. Second Extinction was released in October 2020 on PC in Early Access despite being originally revealed as an Xbox title. However now it seems that a more stable version of the game will be arriving on the Xbox Game Preview as the game has been out since October and plenty of updates have been released for the title already.
The developer has released an Xbox Reveal Trailer for the game as well which we have attached below for you:
A confirmed release date has not been announced by the developer at this point however we do know that the game will arrive this Spring 2021 on the Xbox Game Preview. Additional details will be shared by the developer in the coming days regarding the release and sort of content with the game ship. The game is currently out on Steam in Early Access and is receiving regular updates which include both new content and stability fixes. The community is loving the game as well as it currently has a ‘Mostly Positive’ rating on the platform.
The developers are very active on Steam and their latest update was posted on February 17, 2021, which was about the difficulty level of the title. They are actively listening to fan feedback and rolling out updates and patches for the game based on community feedback. While the player base is not too much, this is probably good for the developers as well at this stage so that they can work with a community that is actually serious about the game and want to see the game get better.
Let us know in the comments section below whether you would be willing to play Second Extinction when it comes to Xbox Game Preview this Spring or not.
