SEGA, G FUEL Have Unveiled New Sonic the Hedgehog Docu-Series

SEGA and its energy drink partner G FUEL have announced a brand-new Sonic the Hedgehog short-form documentary series Sonic All-Star. The new documentary series comes as a result of a new partnership, and it continues the currently ongoing celebrations surrounding Sonic the Hedgehog’s landmark 30th anniversary.

Sonic All-Star Series will release as a short-form documentary at regular intervals, and it will feature a slew of celebrity and influencer guests who will share their favorite Sonic memories from throughout the decades. As part of the new series, SEGA has already released the very first episode in the Sonic All-Star Series. It features Jirard Khalil of The Completionist.

Sonic the Hedgehog Series

Jirard Khalil has been running his own YouTube channel for around the past 10 years and he goes by the name of The Completionist. This is because every week, he 100% completes a single title and shares his journey with his fans. During the episode, Jirard shares his love for Sonic and also the evolution of the franchise throughout the years.

He also highlights the introduction of simultaneous multiplayer gameplay and his favorite moments through the franchise. During the episode, he also takes a pass at drawing a Sonic portrait and plays through the classic Green Hill Zone Act 1 from the original 1991 title as well. The title was released on SEGA MEGA Drive 2.
