Shadow of the Tomb Raider; The Nightmare DLC Releasing Next Week

Shadow of the Tomb Raider Nightmare

Square Enix has announced the third DLC for the Shadow of the Tomb Raider; The Nightmare is set to release next week on 22 January. Players will get a lot of new content, challenge tombs, co-op experiences, weapons and outfits, gameplay modes, and new narrative side missions.

This is the third DLC out of the seven planned for the action adventure title by Square Enix. If you have purchased the Season Pas, each DLC or ‘Paths” will come free of charge, and will be included with a lot of content in each of the seven paths.

There is not much information about this third DLC dropping in next week, though it is safe to say that it definitely going to be action packed. A tweet by the official Tomb Raider Twitter page states that you will face off against familiar enemies and fallen friends. Perhaps the story will take somewhat a supernatural turn, which the series has been known to do at times.

The first DLC came back in December last year called “The Pillar”, that saw Lara croft in a dangerous challenge tomb with a story that fed into the main narrative. The Nightmare will most likely tie into the main story, as well. If you do not own the season pass, you can get the DLC for $4.99, which is the base price of each DLC episode that comes out for the game.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is available right now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, if you want to read why the game is worth playing, then be sure to check out our review.
