In a recent tweet, Koch Media has shared an in-game image from Shenmue III and it shows none other than Forklifts confirming their presence in the game. Fans were eager to know whether Shenmue III is going to feature them or not and it seems like Koch Media has answered the fans with the new tweet.
If you have played Shenmue I then you would know that in the first title, Ryo the main character of the game was able to work as a forklift driver to collect some funds. It was a very short section of the entire game however it somehow became one of the most loved sections by the fans of the series.
The small section featured Ryo driving a forklift, picking up boxes and moving them around Yokosuka Harbor with music playing in the background. It was a very fun mini-game and looks like it is making a comeback in the latest title of the franchise as well. The second title in the franchise did not include any forklift driving however the forklift and Ryo did appear in Sega’s kart racer as a guest character.

Looks like part-time jobs are also returning in Shenmue III. The second title in the franchise also featured some part-time jobs but they were replaced with Ryo moving boxes around with his hands instead of using a forklift. The third title will, however, bring them back.
Sega earlier released both Shenmue I and Shenmue II remakes on modern consoles and PC so that fans can play both the initial titles again and get ready to jump in the third game of the franchise. The HD Remaster featured both titles combined into one package. This is the perfect package for anyone jumping on the Shenmue bandwagon and wants to play the complete franchise before the third game comes out.
