The Coalition has released two brand new character packs for Gears 5 and collectively, six new characters are now available to all players of Gears 5 Multiplayer. The two character packs are exclusively for the online and multiplayer game modes of Gears 5 and further increase the already impressive roster of Gears 5 Multiplayer.
The two new character packs released for Gears 5 include the Terminator Dark Fate Character Pack 2 and Operation 1 Character Pack. The Operation 1 Characters Pack brings back some of the most iconic characters to Gears 5 Multiplayer. Joining the Heroes roster with this pack are COG Gear and Deebee while joining the Villains roster with this pack are Warden and General Raam. All of these characters come with their own special moves.
In Arcade mode, COG Gear and General Raam come with the Bullets For Blood ability which grants them active reload ammo for every kill. On the other hand, Deebee and Warden come with the Xray Vision ability which allows them to see enemies through walls. They come with their own moves and abilities for Horde and Escape mode as well.
The second DLC pack is the Terminator Dark Fate Character Pack 2 which adds Rev-9 Terminator and Grace from the Terminator franchise to the game. This makes it 4 playable characters from the Terminator franchise to join the roster of Gears 5. However, you should know that these are specifically for Multiplayer modes.
If you still have to play Gears 5, make sure that you jump in the game before October 25, 2019, to add Batista to your player roster for free as well. Gears 5 multiplayer offers one of the best character rosters that we have seen in any Gears game in the entire franchise.
