Merge Games has just revealed the official gameplay trailer of Smalland which gave us the first look into the open-world survival game. The game is set to launch later this year in Steam Early Access.
Merge Games has also announced that the game will be releasing on the Epic Game Store at the same time. At this point, any interested players on Epic can wishlist the game.

Merge Games has also announced that the next beta will start at the end of July, where you can get the chance to participate in the beta. If you want to be a part of the beta, you will have to join the official Smalland Discord.
In Smalland, discover what has become of the surface world where you and your comrades explore the cast open world. You will be tasked with the expansion of your people’s territory across a wild, unforgiving, and ever-changing world where everything is overgrown by plant and animal life.

You play from the tiny perspective of an insect and start right from the bottom of the food chain, foraging for resources and local flora and fauna to survive. Because of your size, the trees will be towering skyscrapers that you have to climb, find resources, build rudimentary shelters, craft powerful armor and abilities, complete quests to aid your people, and discover seemingly abandoned locations now reclaimed by nature.
