SOEDESCO is bringing Commandos Inspired Dog Duty to Steam

Review Dog Duty

SOEDESCO has announced that it is bringing the fast-paced Real-Time Tactics game Dog Duty to PC via Steam. The game is already available for Early Access in its final development stages and the indie developer Zanardi&Liza has teamed up with SEODESCO to make the final improvements on the game and polish it for the final release.

Fan feedback has been a major role in the development of the game and SOEDESCO plans to continue the tradition and tune the game in its final form according to fan feedback. Zanardi&Liza is a two-person indie studio out of Brazil who started working on Dog Duty. It is their biggest project to date and the game takes its inspiration from classic games like Commandos and G.I. Joe.

The game sees players controlling a squad of three characters as they infiltrate and wreak chaos in different installments and defeat evil octo-bosses. The game offers players an open map where they can ride freely and fight wherever they want using different vehicles at their disposal. There are three main goals of the mission which includes the destruction of the octo-tank, octoplane, and the octo-jumper.

As players choose their missions and strive to reach the final goal, they will further weaken the enemy positions as each outpost lost will cost enemies weapon, armor and other major octo-supplies making the task easier for the players. The final goal is to take the evil Octopus Commander in his walled capital.

Key features of Dog Duty include:

  • Assemble a 3-person squad and fight in Real-Time Squid combat
  • Liberate outposts to cut off weapon, armor and other octo-supplies
  • Defeat epic bosses and kill your way to the Evil Octopus Commander
  • Fight on top of your armored octo-flying vehicle while driving
