SOEDESCO has released a brand-new gameplay trailer for Heading North, the upcoming Nordic expansion for Truck Driver. Earlier, the publisher only shared a brief teaser for the upcoming expansion however the new trailer goes into detail about what players can expect from the new expansion when it arrives later this year in September.

While it is not really a gameplay trailer, it shows small instances of gameplay tucked between the cinematic shots. We do get additional details in the trailer such as players will get 25+ new missions to complete in the DLC. It will also introduce new types of cargo in the game, such as a giant fish bone statue, generators, and new construction materials. The expansion will also allow players to go offroad anywhere they want.
The new map also features AI trucks which is one of the most demanded features by players however it appears like the AI trucks are only coming to the expansion map at this point. The AI trucks will travel on the new map normally with other AI traffic vehicles however they won’t be offering any sort of competition to the player and will only act as traffic vehicles.
Heading North is an upcoming expansion for Truck Driver which adds the much-awaited map expansion to the game however unlike previously announced that it will be free, SOEDESCO has announced that it will cost $19.99. Players who own the game on any platform will access the new map after buying it for their respective platforms.
Truck Driver is now available for Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch and a PC version of the game is currently in the works. A Premium Version of Truck Driver is also coming later this year.
