Rokabium Games has just announced its upcoming 2D digging puzzle adventure game Something Ate My Alien along with its release date. The game is set to launch for PC on June 18 and can be purchased from Steam.

Something Ate My Alien will have you exploring a variety of hostile planets that are filled with puzzle chambers to solve and subterranean secrets to discover. The game is a hand-painted dig ‘em up title that is made by the studio consisting of just two people, developer Rob Donovan, and artist Kat Langwagen.

In Something Ate My Alien, you take on the role of the Al Antalasia to control your little Alien blobs as they dif through different worlds. This is in an attempt to find all the items required for the pirate who hijacked your mining ship. In your adventures, you will find that each planet will contain many environmental dangers; you will be battling wildlife, and solving secret puzzle chambers. If that is not enough, you have to do everything to survive before your oxygen reserves run out of supply, and other hostiles.

  • Solve puzzle chambers by pushing and pulling blocks to reveal secret treasures.

  • Upgrade and build your equipment by collecting items and energy.
  • Find hidden relics and collect achievements.
  • Engage in bigger battles with the scary huge threats guarding the hidden secrets.

The game is only launching for PC but comes with full controller support of Steam. If you are interested in the price of the game, it will cost you $16.99, while a pre-launch demo has been released for all PC platforms.
