Sony held its CES 2021 keynote last night and at the end of the keynote. Sony announced the release windows of many of the upcoming PS5 titles. Some of the titles that got a release window included Project Athia, Pargmata, and Ghostwire: Tokyo, a title which has been in the shadows for a long time ever since it was revealed back in 2019 during the E3 2019 conference with a new trailer during the PS5 reveal event back in June 2020.
These three are probably the most anticipated titles that players are looking forward to releasing for PS5 however it seems like players still have to wait some more for information on some of the other highly anticipated titles for PS5 such as God of War: Ragnarok and Horizon Forbidden West. The three titles that did get release windows are Tango’s Ghostwire: Tokyo coming in October 2021, Square Enix’s Project Athia coming in January 2022 and Capcom’s Pragmata releasing in 2023.
Capcom had originally announced that Pragmata will release somewhere in 2021 but has now pushed its release date further into 2023. You should note that these are just release windows and a confirmed release date is yet to be announced by their respective developers. With the recent trend of delays, these titles could be pushed further however we can expect them to launch at their respective release windows.
Apart from Ghostwire: Tokyo, both Pragmata and Project Athia were revealed during the PlayStation 5 reveal event back on June 11, 2020, and since then, no further details have been revealed about the games. Both titles were announced as PS5 exclusives however they may eventually release on other platforms as well as we have seen in the past. Sony did not share any additional details about its upcoming titles during its CES 2021 keynote however with 2021 officially kicking off, we can expect more announcements coming in as we progress in the year.
