Insomniac Games not only revealed the story trailer for the upcoming Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 but also revealed the stunning PS5 bundle which features a custom design for the console and the controller. Inspired by the in-game Symbiote, the new Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PS5 bundle looks absolutely gorgeous with red and black as main colors and a little bit of white thrown in the mix. The bundle features a custom PS5 console cover design and a matching DualSense wireless controller. You can check it out in its official reveal trailer below:
The Symbiote will be one of the most formidable challenges that both Spider-Men will face in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, and this is the main reason why the new console puts a focus on it. The new design is striking, and it reflects the intensity of the symbiote and its capacity for transformation and power with a takeover design for the PS5 console and DualSense wireless controller. The front cover of the PS5 shows the symbiote tendrils aggressively creeping closer to the Spider-Man icon, threatening to consume the last bit of the remaining red shining brightly through.
The symbiote has completely taken over on the backside of the console with the iconic white Spider-Man icon from the advanced suit on display. On the DualSense wireless controller, you will see a vast portion of the controller taken over by the symbiote design. If you already own the PS5 disc version or the diskless version, instead of buying a whole new console, you can only go for the front and back PS5 plates as well and change the ones on your current console which is massively convenient.
The bundle includes the limited edition PS5 console, a limited edition DualSense wireless controller, and a voucher for a digital copy of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Standard Edition. You can purchase the controller separately as well and add the custom PS5 covers to complete your Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 look without investing in another PS5 console. Pre-orders will start on July 28, 2023, and apart from participating stores in U.S., U.K., France, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Austria, and Portugal, you can also get it directly from PlayStation.
