Speed Limit Update

Publisher Chorus Worldwide Games and developer Gamechuck have announced the release window of their upcoming fast-paced action game Speed Limit. Speed Limit will be launching on PC via Steam, PS4 (playable on PS5), Xbox One and Series, and Nintendo Switch in early 2020. To celebrate the release window announcement, the developer has released a brand new trailer for the game as well.

Check out the new trailer for Speed Limit below:

Speed Limit is a game about a normal train commute that has gone wrong for the player. The game is a one-take, non-stop arcade action title where speed is key. The game features no slowdowns, no gaps, and no cuts in the action. As players progress in the game, the genre completely shifts from one to another in a seamless transition that keeps the action going. It is a game designed for players looking forward to hard and brutal action.

The game starts as a normal, retro side-scrolling shooter where you must survive shooters, assassins, and SWAT members grappling down into the train and then switches the action to bike chase, car chase, and even jet fighters. There are six unique genres and the seamless transition between each genre ensures that you are always on your toes. Key features of Speed Limit include:

  • A thrilling genre-switching rollercoaster that will test the limits of your reflexes
  • Gameplay that seamlessly transitions between six different retro genres
  • Unlockable endless mode
  • High-energy synthwave soundtrack
  • No tweening, no skeletons: All graphics are hand-drawn frame-by-frame

If you want to try out the game right now, there is a free demo that is available for the game right now for you on Steam to download and play. Make sure that you check out our preview of Speed Limit as well to see our initial impressions about the game.
