Non-Stop Thrill Ride Speed Limit Gets a February 2021 Release Date

Speed Limit Update

Publisher Chorus Worldwide Games and developer Gamechuck have announced the release date of their upcoming fast-paced action game Speed Limit. The release will be simultaneous on both PC and consoles. To celebrate the announcement, the developer has released a new launch date announcement trailer for the game as well:

The game is officially described as:

Speed Limit is a one-take, non-stop arcade experience that does not slow down at all. There are no cuts in the game, no lapses in the chaos, and it is an old-school action extravaganza boiled down to its core elements. Hard. Fast. Addictive.

The game features a unique system where the gameplay changes after every couple of stages. The game keeps you on your toes, but it also promises an experience that showcases the very best of retro gaming. The game starts with you on foot inside a train but soon it changes to a convertible, then on a bike as well as a fighter jet. Each level introduces new game mechanics and a new set of challenges with it as well.

Key features of Speed Limit include:

  • A thrilling genre-switching rollercoaster that will test the limits of your reflexes
  • Gameplay that seamlessly transitions between six different retro genres
  • Unlockable endless mode
  • Test yourself against the clock in time trial mode
  • High-energy synthwave soundtrack
  • No tweening, no skeletons: All graphics are hand-drawn frame-by-frame

Speed Limit has a different release date for all platforms. The PS4 version is releasing on February 16, 2021, and it will be playable on PS5 as well. The PC version will release via Steam on February 17, 2021, along with a digital artbook and soundtrack, the Nintendo Switch version will release on February 18, 202, and finally, the Xbox One version will release on February 19, 2021.
