What are Status Effects in Spellbreak

Status Effects are caused to enemy players or friendly players or even to your own self and they cause a buff or a debuff. Some even buff one stat but debuff another stat depending on their nature. It is vital that you know everything about Status Effects in the game because only then, you will be able to use them to your advantage over the competition. You can apply Status Effects through a wide variety of Runes, Talents, Spells, and Sorceries.

List of Spells in Spellbreak

Each class comes with its own unique spell that can have elemental interactions in the game. We’ve detailed them below:

  • Ice Lance – Can cause collision between shots and disrupt them.
  • Lightning Bolt – Can electrify puddles
  • Fireball – Can melt ice puddles
  • Shockwave – Can break ice puddles and blocks to form Ice Mists
  • Wind Shear – Can break ice puddles

List of Sorceries in Spellbreak

Similar to the Spells, Sorceries can also have an effect on the elementals in the game. They are detailed below:

  • Flash Freeze – Can refreeze water puddles into ice puddles
  • Lightning Strike – Can electrify puddles to deal damage to enemies in them
  • Flamewall – Each wall segment can absorb an Ice Lance hit before extinguishing
  • Toxic Cloud – Can be frozen into an Ice Block by hitting it with Ice Lance or casting Flash Freeze on it
  • Boulderfall – Can be frozen in place with Ice Lance or Flash Freeze
  • Tornado – Can alter the course of Ice Lance shots

Freeze Freezes the player for 2 seconds preventing any action. Only breaks when the player receives damage Allows Gauntlet Swap

Pull Tornados call pull players towards its core. This is more effective against players who are airborne. Allows the use of Runes, Spells, Sorceries, Gauntlet Swap, and Consumables.

Shock Prevents player from using Spells, Sorceries, and Runes for 2 seconds Allows Movement, Levitation, and consumables.

Does not allow the use of Runes, Spells, Sorceries, and Gauntlet Swap

Slow Reduces movement by 50%. Ice Mist further reduces gradually to 50% over 1.5 seconds and delays spell casting speed as well Allows Runes, Spells, Sorceries, Gauntlet Swap, consumables, and levitation

Seriously hinders your movement

Chronomaster Allows you to rewind back 4 seconds and go to your previous location Does not allow levitation, movement, Runes, Spells, Sorceries, Gauntlet Swap and consumables
