THQ Nordic has announced the release date of its RTS game Spellforce Reforced III on consoles. The game will launch on 7th June 2022 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
In addition to the base game, both the Spellforce Reforced III expansions will also be available on the same launch day. Soul Harvest and the Fallen God expansions will be sold separately for $19.99, featuring their own 30+ hours of the single-player campaign.

It is the year 518. The rebellion of the renegade mages, known as the Mage Wars, has been quashed by the Crown. However, it was a Pyrrhic victory: Whole regions have fallen into anarchy, refugees roam the lands in search of shelter, and a mysterious, deadly plague called the “Bloodburn” has arisen and is spreading rapidly.
Spellforce Reforced III brings a unique mix of an epic RPG storyline that is blended with the RTS elements, designed specifically to offer a riveting console experience to newcomers and fans. Although RTS games require quick inputs, the game is designed perfectly to run on your console. The trailer shown above gives us a brief look at what the game looks like when being played with a controller, and how easy it is to dominate the battlefield.
Last December in 2021, the PC version of the game got a free upgrade that completely overhauled Spellforce 3 with a lot of improvements, new game modes, and features.
