The first indoor volleyball simulation video game by Bigben and Black Sheep Studio, Spike Volleyball, is now out. Spike Volleyball features highly simulated player movements and the game is based on movements picked right from real world players using motion trackers.
Spike Volleyball features hyper realistic physics movements of all players in the game. This was achieved by using motion trackers on the bodies of different professional volleyball players and they tracked the player’s every movement.
This resulted in crisp movement animations which were highly accurate and gives the feeling of every move to be as accurate as possible. All these movements are reproduced in the game with the help of Unreal Engine 4 and the motion capture directly from the players.
Each move in the game such as spike, bump, block or floater is captured using this technique. This is the reason why this game acts more like a simulation of the real world game rather than a video game. Players also have different tactics developed by professional coaches at their disposal.

Spike Volleyball gives you complete freedom to play from 50 national teams which include both male and female teams. Fans of the sport could lead their favorite team in victory and if that is not enough, players can create their own custom team in Spike Volleyball’s detailed Career mode as well.
When tired of playing against the AI, players can take the sport on a global level with online and local multiplayer modes. Players can pick their favorite team and find out who is the master of volleyball on an international level.
Motion captured moves ensure that players get the best control over their characters and feel the realism after every move they perform in the game. This enables the players to perform every move to extreme precision and perfection. Players will need technique, speed and corporation to win in Spike Volleyball.
Spike Volleyball is now available on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
