Developer Raccoons Studios and publisher BeardedBrothers.Games have announced that Storage Hunter Simulator has sold 100,000 units. It was released on PC in Early Access back in October 2024 and since then, it has managed to sell quite a decent number of copies. Since its release, the developer has released some updates with the latest adding a Hard Mode to Storage Hunter Simulator. This new challenge allows for a more intense experience, adding over 60 new items, the ability to sell items for player-owned houses, and various gameplay improvements, tweaks, and bug fixes.
Raccoons Studios has also announced a holiday-themed update later this month. The Christmas Content Pack promises festive additions, new items, and a few surprises for you to enjoy as the year winds down. Additional details about this update will be revealed closer to its release. For the time being, you can check out the Official Launch Trailer for the game:
In Storage Hunter Simulator, you dive into the competitive world of storage auctions, battling rival bidders to uncover hidden treasures. The game features thousands of unique items to discover, which must be correctly identified before they can be sold for profit. Rare and valuable finds can be appraised by experts, but as you grow their auction empire, they’ll eventually acquire the tools and skills needed to handle valuations independently.
A key aspect of the game’s progression is the opportunity to purchase and upgrade a personal pawnshop. With expanded shelf space, customizable shop specializations, and the option to hire employees for automation, the pawnshop becomes a cornerstone for driving profits and scaling the business.
You can also expand your influence across different districts, unlocking benefits and discounts as your reputation grows. Taking calculated risks on locked containers, managing resources efficiently, and balancing short-term gains with long-term investments are all essential strategies for climbing from humble beginnings to financial success.
Storage Hunter Simulator is currently available on PC via Steam in Early Access and for a limited time, it is offering a 20% discount as well. If you are not sure about jumping into the game straight away, you can download and play a free demo to get a taste of the game and then decide. Since the game is currently in Early Access, the developers will continue to release additional updates for it in the coming days and you can expect some bugs here and there during this phase.
