Strictly Limited Games has announced an exclusive, limited physical release for Breakers Collection by QUByte Interactive in partnership with VISCO. Breakers Collection includes the 90s cult classic 2D fighting game Breakers and its sequel Breakers Revenge which is releasing on consoles in the West for the very first time. Along with this, exclusive new features like an online versus mode or a highly-requested training mode, are also included in the collection.
Breakers Collection is slated for release for Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5 as a boxed Limited Edition and Collector’s Edition. Pre-orders for both editions are now live exclusively and you can secure your copy at their official website. The Standard Limited Edition is limited to 4,000 copies for Nintendo Switch and 1,500 copies for each PS4 and PS5. Each will set you back $34.99 and it includes a colorful game manual.
Hardcore collectors will be glad to know about the Collector’s Edition which is limited to 3,000 copies for Nintendo Switch and 1,000 copies each for PS4 and PS5 where each copy will set you back $65.99. It comes with tons of additional collectibles such as:

The Breakers Collection comprises of two games: Breakers, a 2D fighting game released by Visco released all the way back in 1996, for the Neo Geo and Arcades in Japan. Included in the package is also the sequel Breakers Revenge which was released in 1998.
Apart from the base games, Breakers Collection will also include bonus content for both titles such as online modes, a training mode, an art gallery, and more. The core gameplay of Breakers Collection is the same and fans of the franchise can expect the same special action-based fights similar to other fighting games of that era. Each of the eight distinctive fighters in the game along with two additional from the sequel can perform super moves by accumulating enough energy in their power gauge and performing the command. Apart from the super moves, each player in the game can also perform typical moves such as dashing, back-stepping, and acrobatic combos. Breakers Collection is coming out after 20 years of the original release.
