New Game Modes
Super Mario Party comes with a lot more modes than they are shown to you at the start of the game. However, they are not unlocked right from the start of the game. These modes must be unlocked first by playing through the current unlocked modes. We have detailed all of the locked game modes below and how you can unlock them easily.
Party Points
Party Points is more of a menu than a game mode however it will unlock many new content for you as you purchase more stuff here. To unlock the Party Points menu, simply play two matches of any of the unlocked modes and then speak with the Toad who gave you your Party Pad. He will unlock the Party Points menu for you.
Toad’s Rec Room
To unlock Toad’s Rec Room, you will need to complete a match of Mario Party.
Sticker Room
Once you have Party Points menu unlocked, simply go red warp pipe in Party Plaza and get it unblocked via Kamek. This will give you access to the Sticker Room.
Challenge Road
You can unlock the Challenge Road by unlocking all the minigames in Super Mario Party. There are 80 minigames in Super Mario Party across the four main game modes. Complete them all and you will unlock the Challenge Road mode.
Unlock Gems
There are five different gems in the game that you can unlock in the game. We have detailed them below.
Gem of Passion
To unlock the Gem of Passion, complete every world in Challenge Road.
Gem of Courage
To unlock the Gem of Courage, complete every route in River Survival.
Gem of Tenacity
To unlock the Gem of Tenacity, play all four boards in the standard Mario Party mode.
Gem of Spirit
To unlock the Gem of Spirit, finish the Sound Stage mode on Hard.
Gem of Love
To unlock the Gem of Love, find a partner and complete all four boards in the Partner Party Mode.
Unlocking the Hidden Board
In addition to the three boards unlocked from the start, there is also a fourth Hidden Board in the game called Kamek’s Tantalizing Tower. To unlock this hidden board, all you need to do is complete the existing three boards in the standard Mario Party mode and you will unlock the fourth bonus board.
Unlock Bonus Characters

To unlock Pom Pom, complete Salty Sea in Challenge road. Pom Pom’s Dice is is 0 3 3 3 3 8.
Dry Bones
You cannot really unlock Dry Bones by a certain task or activity as he will spawn in the Party Plaza randomly so simply keep an eye out for him there. His Dice is 1 1 1 6 6 6.
Donkey Kong
To unlock Donkey Kong, complete three different courses in the River Survival and then keep an eye out for in at the end in the crowds. His Dice is +5© 0 0 0 10 10.
Diddy King
To unlock Diddy King, complete Chestnut Forest in the Challenge Road. His Dice is 0 0 0 7 7 7.
