A new update for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate update has been released and it focuses on improving the online experience of the game. These improvements are not only limited to online as some of the characters in the game have been balanced as well.
One of the most major changes this update brings to the table is that now the game will prioritize your preferred match types while it is searching for a match. This was a big issue with most of the players where they were setting the criteria for something else and they were being added to matches which were of completely different criteria. This update focuses mainly of matchmaking improvements.
Coming to character balancing, many of the characters have been balanced as some of them were overpowered, some underpowered and so. The major characters who got balanced include Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, Duck Hunt, Link, Kirby, Luigi, Ice Climbers, Toon Link, Young Link, Olimar, Villager, Greninja, and Isabelle. All of them have been balanced to create matches much more realistic.
In addition to this, online connections have also been made better. Connections are now much more stable and synchronization between different servers is also much better with the new update. Pikachu and Eevee spirits for players having Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu!/Eevee! Saved files in the consoles are also now available to them and can be unlocked.
This is all what the new update brings out. The main update focused in this patch is the online matchmaking and connection issues which certainly have improved for players around the globe after the patch. Super Smash Bros. Bros Ultimate is quickly climbing the ladder in terms of sales and could be the best launch on Nintendo Switch.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is now out on Nintendo Switch exclusively and features the biggest roster of characters ever seen in a Super Smash Bros. game.
