Teamgroup has been making some of the best SSDs for quite a long time as you can see in our reviews of their previously released SSDs including the Delta Max RGB SSD and the PD 400 Portable SSD. To diversify the customization factor of their SSDs, Teamgroup has now announced a brand new snow-white T-Force Cardea Ceramic C440 SSD featuring a striking color that is perfect for people who prefer building white systems.
Apart from the cool snow-white color, the new Ceramic C440 SSD is the first of its kind in the industry as it is made with ceramic composite cooling materials and has obtained Taiwan Utility Model Patent (No. M595313). The snow-white ceramic offers a unique texture and the special aerospace ceramic also offers excellent heat dissipation effect. This new SSD by Teamgroup not only brings a new color to the gaming world but also offers ultimate performance with read/write speed of 5,000/4,400 MB/s.
Coupled with NVMe 1.3 specification, T-Force Cardea Ceramic C440 SSD creates a higher standard for M.2 SSD drives by using the latest, ultra-fast M.2 PCIe Gen4x4 interface to achieve a sequential read/write speed of 5,000/4,400 MB/s. With the new aerospace ceramic composite cooling materials, the drive can easily dissipate heat but also reduce heat overall by nearly 18% when the case is equipped with a cooling fan. It is also much lighter in weight and is much thinner than others.
It is also anti-electromagnetic interference and comes with a high-temperature resistant design along with shock resistance. The materials used in the build are environment-friendly and are RoHS compliant. The design combines Cardea Ceramic C440’s snow-white heat spreader along with the golden T-Force to give a unique look. It is only 1mm thick which makes it really good for a diverse variety of builds. The SSD uses 3D NAND which is stacked in a three-dimensional way to offer up to 2TB of storage.
The read/write speed of Cardea Ceramic C440 is nearly 10 times2 faster than SATA SSD, 1.65 times3 faster than the M.2 PCIE Gen3x4 SSD. Gamers can use it with the current PCIe 3.0 platform as well since the SSD is fully backwards compatible with it. For more details, you can head over to Teamgroup’s website and check out the details. Teamgroup also previously released ASUS TUF themed SSDs along with T-Force Spark RGB Flash Drive and 4K HD Memory Card.
