Techland and Koch Media have announced that they are teaming up once again to deliver Dying Light 2 in Europe and Australia. Back when Dying Light was released, Koch Media was the sole distributor of the game in Europe but now it seems that Koch Media will be handling both Europe and Australia.

Koch Media will not only distribute Dying Light 2 in these territories but they will also assist Techland with Marketing and PR activities as they have local teams in these regions and expertise on how to handle the local areas. Both Techland and Koch Media will also be available at Gamescom 2019 which is just a few days away and players will be able to try out Dying Light 2 at Koch Media’s booth at the event.

Ed Lin, Head of Marketing at Techland said:

We are very excited to be joining forces with Koch Media once again. Our relationship dates back over a decade, and Koch has been our trusted partner since. This is a fantastic opportunity, and we will bring Dying Light 2 to audiences from Europe to Australia. After officially starting off our cooperation at Gamescom, we will work together to deliver a vigorous campaign and launch Dying Light 2 in Spring 2020.

CEO at Koch Media, Dr. Klemens Kundratitz, also shared his comments:

We are delighted to announce the revitalization of what has been an extremely successful partnership over the years. Both the teams at Koch and Techland know each other well and have trustful working relationships, forged through the combined work we did for the critically acclaimed predecessor Dying Light and various other titles in our territories. All of our local publishing and distribution teams at Koch Media across Europe are excited to work on the highly anticipated next entry of the Dying Light franchise

Our past experience in working with Techland and the overall quality of the game gives us great confidence that this will be another top hit for both companies. Gamescom 2019 is the perfect time to kick off our collaboration once again. We are all ready to support the game with all our Marketing-, Sales- and PR-expertise across all European markets and Australia.

Dying Light 2 is the second installment in the highly successful Dying Light franchise by Techland. It brings to life a unique post-apocalyptic vision of Modern Dark Ages. These are described as a brutal, bleak and unforgiving reality where the players must try to survive the living as well as the dead.

Players will have their signature parkour abilities at their disposal which are now even better than the first game along with brutal combo skills as players explore the world and try to survive the living during the day and the undead during the night. Dying Light 2 is powered by C-Engine which is a brand new generation of Techland’s in-house technology. The game will bring every good from the first game and make it even better.

Dying Light 2 is slated to release on Xbox One, PS4, and PC in Spring 2020. Techland also confirmed that Dying Light 2 will also arrive on PS5 and Xbox Scarlett.
