Bandai Namco Reveals Two New DLC Characters in Tekken 7

Tekken 7 New Characters

Two new characters are set to join the roster of Tekken 7 as revealed by Bandai Namco at the Tekken World Tour Finals 2019. The DLC characters are Ganryu and Fahkumram and are completely new with their own background story.

The first is Fahkumram, who according to Bandai Namco is a Muay Thai champion. He is set all set to enter the fighting ring and to do anything to get his family’s freedom. The gameplay trailer of Fahkumram also shows him in combat with different characters in the game. What is interesting is how he enters the stage in a locked-up device and dropped in by some sort of army helicopter. Take a look at the trailer below:

Introducing Muay Thai champion Fahkumram – he’s ready to enter the ring to fight for his family’s freedom!

On the other hand, another character that is new and was revealed at the event is Ganryu. Not much is known about this fighter, other than he is set to enter the King of Iron Fist tournament. A separate gameplay trailer was also released for this fighter, and you can see that he is on the plus side being a heavy fighter. His attire and his style resemble that of a sumo wrestler from Japan. One of his special moves involves him to toy around with his opponent by launching them into the air and landing on top of them for a crushing slam attack.

Both Ganryu and Fahkumram will be available with the season pass of the game. There is no confirmation when you will be able to get them, as no release date has been shared. However, we do expect it to come sometime this winter.
