NACON and Big Ant Studios have announced that a special edition of Tennis World Tour 2 is releasing on next-gen consoles in 2021. The new special edition will include the base game, additional content, and gameplay improvements. The special edition is slated for a release on Xbox Series X/S and PS5 in March 2021.

Along with the next-gen release, the game’s Annual Pass’s new DLC pack is also now available to players who own the Annual pass for Tennis World Tour 2. The future content for the Annual Pass will include more official stadiums and three additional DLC packs which will be released in the next four months. The second DLC is available for the game right now and it includes two new players including US player Sofia Kenin and Karolina Plíšková from the Czech Republic.

Two additional DLC packs will release in January and March that will include a range of additional content including a new tournament, eight new players, new stadiums, gears, and clothing. Check out the official infograph for the game’s future content plans below:

  • Highly anticipated new features: the ability to play doubles matches with up to 4 players locally and online, a competitive mode, an improved serve system, and a new shot timing mechanic

  • Multiple game modes: Career, Quick Match, Online, Tournament, Ranked Match, and Tie Break Tens – there’s a format to suit every player
  • Several official courts: The Estadio Manolo Santana of the Mutua Madrid Open, the OWL ARENA of Halle or the 3 courts of Roland-Garros: Philippe-Chatrier, Suzanne-Lenglen, and Simonne-Mathieu
  • 48 renowned players: the most famous players are part of the casting this year, among them Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, and Ashleigh Barty
  • A next-gen version with technical and gameplay improvements
