Stray Bombay has announced that it will be releasing the fifth major The Anacrusis update, called The MODerately Extravagant Update. The update brings cross-play mods, modder tools, a new weapon modification system, and more on June 8th
To celebrate the launch of the update, the game will be available for free to all Steam players from June 9-12 and will be on sale for 50% off on Steam from June 9 to July 7. The same deal will be available on Xbox from June 14 to June 20.
The update comes after Stray Bombay has yet again taken feedback from the community, bringing the most requested features. The developer has been doing so ever since the game’s launch earlier this year, bringing features like the holdout mode, offline play, private lobbies, better bot support, major performance and control enhancements, more dynamic animations for aliens, and more.
Stray Bombay also revealed that the next update is already in the works, where it will bring more new weapons, Versus Mode, finishes to Episodes 4 and 5, and expand the mod support system beyond maps and campaigns. The update will also be adding a new season of content to Infinity Pass, and more.
