Leading interactive audio entertainment studio, Wanderword has partnered with inXile entertainment to bring the audio RPG The Bard’s Tale on Amazon Alexa devices near you. The game is said to be available sometime this month in December 2021, but a release date has not been announced.
Wanderword’s in-house development team, Polar Night Studio has tirelessly worked on the project to bring this unique game to your home devices. The team was able to develop a turn-based combat system that rewards strategic thinking, similar to those that are found in traditional role playing games.
The Bards Tale: Warlocks of Largefearn is an audio RPG that will give players hours of gameplay. It is up to them to unlock the mysteries of this small settlement. Players can choose from 4 different playable classes, and customize their characters further, while two advanced subclasses will be unlock as your character progresses. You can also be able to recruit companions that will then join your journey, taking your side in combat and also offering you advice in your adventure.
If you make use of a screen, you can also enjoy the game’s beautifully hand drawn images for characters, locations, and also combat. The characters and locations come to life with detailed artwork setting the mood for this fantasy adventure. Players will be able to see the combat grid and make moves that will have an effect on the outcome of the battle.
