Nicalis, the developers of The Binding of Isaac Rebirth, have revealed a new teaser trailer for The Binding of Isaac: Repentance. Revealed in an official tweet, the teaser is only 19 seconds long and only shows a logo with information of their PAX West 2018 booth.

PAX West 2018 will start August 31 and run until September 3 and Nicalis seems to have a booth there. We are expecting that they will reveal further information about the new game there. At the moment, we have no idea whether this is the next game in the franchise or it is simply a DLC or expansion pack of the previous title.
No information on the platforms have been revealed so far as well but we hope that whatever it is, it will most likely come out of PS4, Xbox One, Steam and Nintendo Switch. Nintendo Switch received the last The Binding of Isaac game, which was Afterbirth+, which included Rebirth and all additional DLC content.
The Binding of Isaac started as a PC exclusive title in 2011 and it was an instant hit with the community. The developer later collaborated up with Nicalis who then released console versions of the game, which was much improved and included many new features as well.
Since then the game has gained a very decent fan base and now they have released a new teaser. We would love it to be the next game in the franchise however the possibly of it being a DLC or a full on expansion of the original game cannot be ruled out of the equation.
