Developer Striking Distance Studios and publisher KRAFTON have revealed the various editions of The Callisto Protocol including a cool Collector’s Edition. The upcoming horror game is getting three different editions and will cater to fans with different needs. For normal players who just want to experience the game, there will be a Standard Edition of the game. For players who want a little more with the base game, the game is getting a Digital Deluxe Edition and for the hardcore fans, there is a $249.99 The Callisto Protocol Collector’s Edition.
Starting with the Standard Edition of The Callisto Protocol, the current-gen version of the game will set you back $69.99 and the previous-gen versions and the PC version will set you back $59.99. it includes just the base game. If you want a little more with the base game, you can get the Digital Deluxe Edition of The Callisto Protocol which includes the base game along with its season pass. It costs $89.99 for the current-gen consoles and $79.99 for the previous-gen consoles and PC. Finally, if you want the best of the best, you can nab yourself the GameStop exclusive Collector’s Edition.
The Collector’s Edition of The Callisto Protocol is only available at GameStop and all versions cost $249.99. This pretty edition of the game ships with a physical copy of the game along with:
- Season pass
- Jacob statue
- Collectible pins
- Steelbook case
- TCP comic #0 edition
- Retro prisoner skins
The Callisto Protocol is slated for release on December 2 and will come out on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. Pre-orders for all editions are now live however since the Collector’s Edition is exclusive to GameStop, you can only pre-order it from there. The remaining editions are available everywhere and preordering will ensure that you can unlock all of the bonuses when the game comes out later this year. The Callisto Protocol received new trailers during the Summer Game Fest 2022 Official livestream and Sony State of Play June 2022.
