Massive Entertainment has announced that the upcoming raid for The Division 2 Operation Dark Hours has been delayed and the raid along with Title Update 3 will now release in May. It was initially planned for April 25 but now it has been delayed into May. Title Update 3 is going be much meatier than the last update Massive released for The Division 2 which added Tidal Basin to the game.
This was revealed by Massive in a press release on Ubisoft’s official website and the decision to delay the update and the raid was made because they need more time to work on the content. They want to ensure that the update as well as the Operation Dark Hours raid is fully functional and as bug-free as possible when it is launched worldwide.
Massive states:
In order to fine-tune the balance of our game and to ensure the best possible player experience for everyone, we have decided to move the release of Title Update 3.
However, the Public Test Server is now live for all players who own The Division 2. The Public Test Server will allow the developer to test all upcoming updates on a live environment will real-world players in it allowing Massive to further fine tune the update and check its implementation in action before rolling it out for the full game.
Another important fact to mention here is that the Title Update 3 content and the upcoming raid will not be available on the Test Server. This might not be the case in the future however Massive will share more information on this in the upcoming days. For the time being, players can play around in the Test Server or try the new and one of the hardest strongholds added to The Division 2 with Tidal Basin.
The new release date for The Division 2 Title Update 3 and Operation Dark Hours is not known as of now however we know that its release window is set for May 2019.
