Looks like the servers are down of the private beta of Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, which was released yesterday. Ubisoft has identified multiple problems that the devs are working to fix.
Servers are offline as of right now for players on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. However, everything should be back live at 3:30am PT, which is just an hour away. That is if the time is not extended further by Ubisoft.
The biggest issue out there was that players were experiencing game crashes after playing for extended periods of time. Because of the crashing, Ubisoft is working on the game and has taken down the server for maintenance.
Another issue is that if you are invited by a friend when you are not playing The Division 2, accepting the invitation will result in the game to crash. Though an easy fix was to load up the game first and then accept any invite.
There is no other information as to how Ubisoft plans to fix the issues, and if they will roll out a patch following today’s maintenance, and if the time of the beta will be extended for the three hours that the servers have been down for
Once the servers are back up, players will also be able to get to try out some of the end game content from The Division 2. The content includes an Invaded mission with the Black Tusks and three Specializations; Sharpshooter, Demolitionist and Survivalist.
The private beta of the game is for players who pre-ordered the game. the game fully launches on 15 March for the PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One. The game will also be available through Epic Game Store rather than its predecessor releasing via Steam for PC players.
