Markus with friends have announced that their upcoming title The Girl of Glass: A Summer Bird’s Tale is set to launch on Steam this summer. The game has been in development for over two years now according to the developer himself. In addition, there is also a playable demo available on the developer’s website right now.
Marks from Markus with friends talked about the development of the game and how it has gained a lot of positive recommendations since its announcement.
My name is Markus, and I’m proud to introduce to you what my talented friends and I have been working on over the last few years – The Girl of Glass: A Summer Bird’s Tale. I had initially announced the game in 2016 as a part of the Square Enix Collective program, where it gained a 91% positive recommendation from players around the world. A lot has happened since then, though. For example, I decided to scrap the episodic formula. I feel this was the right decision, but it increased the development time significantly. Still, the plan was never to delay the game this long, but as always, life gets in the way of plans.
