After its hugely successful launch weekend, The Last of Us: Part 2 has managed to push the sales of the original The Last of Us Remastered as well. In the last week, The Last of Us Remastered was sitting at the number 17th topmost sold physical games sold in the UK for it has managed to push its way into the Top 10 list and is now sitting on the 9th spot with The Last of Us: Part 2 still sitting at the top spot for a second consecutive week.
As revealed by GamesIndustry.biz, the sales of The Last of Us: Part 2 fell by over by 80% over its first launch week however the original game The Last of Us Remastered say an increase of over 82% and managed to push its way into the Top 10 list for the past week. Apart from this, another classic game released back in 2016 on 3DS, Bravely Second: End Layer managed to secure the 2nd Spot due to a recent sale at a physical retailer in the UK.
Apart from this, the newly released SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated, the remaster of the 2003 classic managed secure the 3rd spot in sales. The rest of the lost remained pretty much the same as Ring Fit: Adventure, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, FIFA 2-, Mario Kart 8: Deluxe, Grand Theft Auto 5, and Minecraft managing to stay in the list.
