Ubisoft has announced that the Road to S.I. in-game event is back in Rainbow Six Siege again. This time, however, the mode features a brand new map: Stadium. You will get access to the event every weekend from Thursday to Sunday and the event runs from January 15 to the very end of Six Invitational on February 16, 2020. The Road to Six Invitational also comes with the first full Battle Pass Rainbow Six Siege which contributes to the Six Invitational prize pool.
During the event, players will try to prove who is the best Six’s specialists on the new map Stadium. This map is specifically made for this competition. The walls of the stadium feature bulletproof glass which creates new situations as you see your opponents but you cannot engage with them. The matches are Bomb matches with Pick and Ban. Each round is 3 minutes long and features 3 round rotation. Players will have access to all operators for this event and six Competitors will be automatically equipped with their Road to S.I. gear: Blitz, Caveira, Hibana, Mozzie, Sledge, and Thermite.
Similar to other games’ Battle Passes, the Road to S.I. Battle Pass will also feature a Free track and a Premium track. Both tracks feature 35 tiers and nearly 48 rewards for players to unlock. These rewards include exclusive customization items available in the Road to S.I. game mode only. You will need to dish out 1200 R6 credits to purchase the Premium pass. You can also purchase the Premium Bundle for 2400 R6 Credits which gives you access to Premium pass and first 12 tiers.
You can unlock the remaining Battle Pass tiers by playing more and more. The better you perform in the stages, the more quickly you will move ahead to better tiers. 30% of revenue on this will go to Six Invitational up to a maximum amount of $3,000,000 USD. Ubisoft has also announced that any extra will be redistributed across other official Rainbow Six eSports programs.
