GreenBoy Games has announced that their upcoming Nintendo Game Boy game, The Shapeshifter 2, will be getting a special bonus stage after accomplishing the Kickstarter stretch goal.
This comes after the game has gotten the support of 539 backers, raising more than $55,000. GreenBoy Games had pledged $6,964 for the game’s funding on Kickstarter, but that goal has been crossed within 8 minutes, while there are 46 days still to go in the funding campaign.

The Shapeshifter 2 is the next game in the series that is physically launching on the Nintendo Game Boy console. In addition, it is the first and only game on this console to have 2 cartridges for playing your ‘Choose your own adventure style game.
In The Shapeshifter 2, you play as a character called Elliot, who is a normal ordinary person who is going to spend the weekend in the mountains with his friends. It is here where Elliot meets a little elf who needs his help saving the Elven world from a wizard’s spell. The Elf also gives you a power that lets you turn into any animal you touch. The powers have a limited time on them as they will run out at dawn.
The game will be releasing in two different editions, which are the Standard Edition and the Limited Edition.
