The Walking Dead: The Final Season Episode 4 Releasing in March

The Walking Dead: The Final Season

Apparently, the release date of the Walking Dead: The Final Season Episode 4 has been revealed in the third episode; Broken Toys. The release date was seen in the in-game episode menu screen, where it mentioned the release date to be 26 March, 2019.

Now it will seem highly unlikely if this turns out not to be the case, as the game mentions its date very clearly to many users, even though the release date was not officially announced by Skybound Games.

Nevertheless, it seems that Skybound has got the series back to its feet, where there are no delays as many people speculate after the closure of Telltale Games, and Skybound acquiring The Walking Dead series from Telltale. Many people were afraid that the new studio might take long to release the episodes, though the concerns have been proven wrong with the release date of the last two episodes coming out fairly quickly after the Telltale fiasco last year.

Since Skybound Games has acquired The Walking Dead: The Final Season, Broken Toys was the first episode to come out of the studio. And with its launch, the release date of Episode 4 was also confirmed.

With the release of Episode 4 in March, we can truly say that will be the end of Telltale with the end of the series. Though the team will likely spread around and give their talent to other welcome studios.

Players who have purchased the Season Pass can still download Episode 3 and the finale on their chosen platforms. Those who opted to purchase the episodes individually on PC can get both the third and fourth episode from the Epic Games Store.
