Respawn Entertainment and EA released the original Titanfall on PC via Steam over the weekend and no one saw it coming. However, despite it being a pleasant surprise for fans of the franchise, the game turned out to be a mess with a lot of bugs and glitches making it impossible for players to play the game. Numerous bugs and glitches caused game crashes or players returning back to the Main Menu of the game instead of heading inside a match.
Titanfall was originally released as an Xbox One exclusive back in 2014 however now after nearly 6 years, the game is available on PC however it is suffering from a lot of technical problems despite being six years old. The most common issue that seems to be bothering players appears to be matchmaking issues. Apart from this, some players are also reporting audio issues and DLC not showing up in the main game among many others.
Right after its release, Steam users flocked and gave the game a Negative rating because of all the issues which led to the game’s rating becoming ‘Mostly Negative’ despite it beings a really good game on Xbox One. However, after all the fan outcry, Respawn has issued a statement and has responded that the developer is working to fix the Steam release and most of the issues seem to have been fixed already on Steam. This had led to some positive reviews as well and now the game has ‘Mixed’ reviews instead of Mostly Negative.
So far, the audio issues have been completely fixed and the dreaded static is now gone. Matchmaking is much better now as well, and players have been playing the game normally without any hiccups. However, there are still a few little bugs and glitches hiding here and there however we are sure that with Respawn busy at work, the game will be running optimally pretty soon.
